INGREDIENTS:
- 1 egg
- 140g (0.7 cup) sugar
- 70ml (0.3 cup) oil
- 10g vanilla sugar
- 450g (3.6 cups) all-purpose flour
- 170ml (0.7 cup) water
- 10g baking powder
- 15g cocoa
HOW TO MAKE FRIED COCOA SWIVELS :
Beat the egg with sugar and vanilla sugar until well combined.
Add oil to the mixture and stir thoroughly.
Incorporate water, flour, and baking powder into the mixture, kneading the dough until it forms a smooth consistency.
Divide the dough into two parts. Add cocoa to one part and knead until the cocoa is evenly distributed.
Roll out two cakes from the two dough portions.
Place one cake on top of the other, creating a roll. Wrap the roll and cut it with a thread.
Fry the swivels in a generous amount of oil until golden brown.
Allow them to cool slightly, and voilà – your Fried Cocoa Swivels are ready to be savored.
