Cheese Bourekas Recipe

Ingredients 

  • 1 pound / 17.3 ounce puff pastry
  • 6 ounce feta cheesecrumbled
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar
  • 1/2 cup ricotta
  • zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 eggbeaten for wash on top
  • black and white sesame seeds

Instructions 

  • You’ll begin by mixing all your ingredients in a mixing bowl while your pastry thaws with a pinch of salt and a pinch of black pepper, preheat you oven to 350 degrees as well. In the meantime, in a small bowl, whisk your egg until it is all one color. Set aside.
