Beef and Potato Bake Casserole

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Grease an 11x7-inch glass baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Add the ground beef, onion, optional seasonings, salt, and pepper. Cook until the meat is brown and crumbly, then drain any excess fat.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the milk, soup, stock, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  • Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the prepared baking dish. Top with about a quarter of the soup mixture and half of the browned meat and cheese.
  • Repeat the layers, ending with cheese on top.
  • Cover the dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1 to 1.5 hours, or until the potatoes are fork-tender.
  • Remove from the oven and let the casserole rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm!
