Here is an easy and delicious recipe for braided salmon puff pastry with leeks and cheese with a hint of dill, a real treat in all simplicity. A tasty starter that can be served as a main course accompanied by a good salad or a vegetable soup or velouté.
INGREDIENTS
2 puff pastries
2 leeks
2 sprigs of fresh dill optional
200 g thick crème fraîche
4 skinless salmon fillets
40 g of grated Parmigiano Reggiano AOP or Gruyere
1 egg yolk + 1 tablespoon of milk
Nutmeg
Salt and pepper
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon of neutral oil
2 tablespoons sesame seeds optional
INSTRUCTIONS
Wash the leeks and cut them into thin slices. Cook them covered for 10 to 15 minutes in a tablespoon of olive oil and butter.
