  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan lightly with cooking spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a separate large bowl, combine the applesauce, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix until well blended.
  4. Add the Greek yogurt, eggs, and vanilla extract to the applesauce mixture. Beat with a whisk or electric mixer until smooth.
  5. Gradually add the dry flour mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips gently, reserving a few to sprinkle on top if desired.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top.
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with moist crumbs.
  9. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
