INSTRUCTIONS
Quickly knead the ingredients for the shortcrust pastry into a smooth dough. Wrap it in cling film and place it in the fridge for about 30 minutes.

In the meantime, prepare the filling. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl until smooth.

Preheat the oven to 170 degrees (top/bottom heat).
Roll out 2/3 of the dough with a little flour to a thickness of about 0.8cm. Line your baking tin with it and pull a rim about 5cm high.
Spread the quark mixture on top.
From the remaining third of the dough, take small pieces of dough one at a time, press them flat and spread them over the filling (it doesn’t have to have a pattern, the filling should still show through at the end).
Bake the cake in the preheated oven for one hour. Then turn it off and let the cake cool in the oven for another 30 minutes. Then let it cool completely at room temperature.
