INSTRUCTIONS

Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water. Pour the yeast water into a bowl together with the flour, salt and olive oil and knead everything for at least 5 minutes until you have a smooth dough.

Cover it and let it rest in a warm place for an hour.

step 2

Melt the butter. Put the picked herbs, garlic cloves and salt into a food processor along with the butter.

Alternatively, you can chop the herbs, press the garlic and stir it into the butter by hand.

step 3

Roll out the yeast dough on a little flour until it is thin and rectangular. Spread the dough with the herb butter.

Cut about 12-15 squares from the rectangle. Place three of them on top of each other and place the dough parcels one after the other in a 21 cm loaf pan.

Spread the rest of the herb butter on the surface of the bread in the pan.

Let it rest for another 15 minutes.

Step 4

In the meantime, preheat the oven to 200 degrees top/bottom heat. Bake the bread for 25 minutes and let it cool slightly.
