INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees top/bottom heat. Grease a baking pan approx. 36x24cm or place a baking frame on a tray.
Beat the sugar with the vanilla sugar, salt, eggs and oil for about 5 minutes until foamy. Mix the flour and baking powder. Sift into the dough and stir in together with the yoghurt.
Pour the dough into the tin and spread it out. Bake for about 17 minutes and allow to cool completely.

Mix the ingredients for the cream together. Spread over the cold cake. Distribute 12 apricot halves over the cake, placing one in the middle of each piece.
For the cake glaze, mix 125ml water with half the packet of cake glaze and 1 tablespoon of sugar in a saucepan, bring to the boil and spread over the entire surface of the cake.
Chill for two hours before serving and cut into equal-sized pieces.
