Pistachio tiramisu: the recipe for the delicious and unexpected variation

How to prepare pistachio tiramisu
Step 1
Place four egg yolks in a bowl and add the granulated sugar1and beat with an electric whisk on medium speed until the mixture is light and fluffy.

Put the mascarpone and the egg yolks beaten with the sugar into a bowl2, then mix again with a whisk until a fluffy cream is formed.

Stir in pistachio cream3.

Mix well with an electric whisk to obtain a smooth mixture4.

Prepare the coffee with a moka, you will need about 300 ml. Once it is ready, let it cool in a bowl, quickly moisten the ladyfingers and let them soak only on the smooth side. Then place a first layer in a rectangular baking dish of about 25 x 18 centimeters5. The coffee should be bitter, but you can sweeten it slightly if you like.

Fill the cream into a piping bag or cake syringe and apply a first layer to the ladyfingers6; alternatively spread it with a spoon.

Make a second layer of ladyfingers soaked in coffee7.

Apply a second layer of cream and cover everything with ladyfingers8.

Complete with plenty of tiramisu cream9.

Garnish with chopped pistachios10and place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to harden.

Serve your pistachio tiramisu with a cup of espresso11.
