  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, toss the tutti frutti with 1-2 tablespoons of flour to coat them. This will help prevent them from sinking to the bottom of the cake while baking.
  3. In a separate large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. In another bowl, sift together the remaining flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  7. Fold in the tutti frutti until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it out evenly.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
  10. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Enjoy your homemade Tutti Frutti cake with a cup of tea or coffee! You can also sprinkle some powdered sugar on top before serving for a decorative touch.
