Banana Oat Energy Balls

- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 tbsp protein powder
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat and Prepare:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Mash the Bananas:
- In a large bowl, add the ripe bananas and mash them with a fork until smooth and creamy.
- Combine Ingredients:
- To the mashed bananas, add the old-fashioned rolled oats, protein powder, ground cinnamon, and mini chocolate chips. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
- Form the Balls:
- Using a small cookie scoop or your hands, form the mixture into approximately 1-inch balls. You should be able to make about 20 balls in total.
- Bake to Perfection:
- Place the formed balls on the prepared baking sheet, making sure to space them out evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until lightly golden and set.
- Cool and Store:
- Allow the energy balls to cool completely on the baking sheet before transferring them to an airtight container for storage. These energy balls can be stored at room temperature or in the refrigerator for optimal freshness.
