Seared Steak and Scallops

Prepare the Steak:
Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat. When the oil is hot, add the steaks and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and let rest.
Cook the Scallops:
While the steak rests, wipe the skillet clean and melt butter over medium-high heat.
Season the scallops with salt and pepper. Place them in the skillet and sear for about 1-2 minutes on each side until a golden crust forms and the scallops are translucent in the center. Remove from the skillet.
Make the Garlic Herb Butter Sauce:
In the same skillet, reduce the heat to low and add the butter and minced garlic. Cook gently until the garlic is fragrant but not browned.
Stir in the parsley and lemon juice, then season with salt and pepper.
Serve:
Slice the steak and arrange on plates along with the scallops.
Spoon the garlic herb butter sauce over the steak and scallops.
Garnish with additional parsley if desired.
