Easy Fish Tacos Recipe

You’ll love the combination of warm, spicy pan-fried tilapia topped with a light, creamy slaw. Best of all, the entire meal is ready in 45 minutes!

Not a fan of tilapia? Feel free to swap it out. These are the best fish to fry.

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 lbs. fresh tilapia fillets
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 (1 ounce) packet taco seasoning (about 1/4 cup)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • Corn tortillas, for serving (or substitute with flour tortillas)

For the slaw

  • 8 ounces (about 3-3/4 cups) coleslaw mix or shredded cabbage
  • 2 tablespoons light mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons light sour cream
  • Juice from half a lime
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
