  1. Cook the Ground Beef:
    • In a skillet, cook 1 pound of ground beef over medium heat.
    • Season the beef with garlic powder, chopped onion, and Slap Ya Mama seasoning (adjust seasoning to taste).
    • Once the beef is cooked, add taco seasoning and mix well. Set aside.
  2. Prepare the Cheese Mixture:
    • In a large bowl, combine the fiesta nacho cheese soup, Rotel, and sour cream. Mix until well combined.
    • Add the cooked ground beef to the cheese mixture and mix thoroughly.
  3. Assemble the Taco Lasagna:
    • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Lay down two large burrito-sized flour tortillas in a baking dish.
    • Add about 1/3rd of the beef mixture on top of the tortillas.
    • Continue layering with two more tortillas and the beef mixture until all the filling is used, usually creating three layers.
    • Top the lasagna with two more tortillas.
  4. Top with Shredded Cheese:
    • Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded cheese on top of the lasagna, covering it evenly.
  5. Bake:
    • Cook the taco lasagna uncovered in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Serve:
    • Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
    • Cut into portions and serve. You can pair it with cheesy Mexican rice for a complete and delicious meal.
